Believing in the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, we proclaim the good news of God’s love—revealed in Jesus Christ—through our actions and words. We rely on the truth and inspiration of the Scriptures for God’s future guidance--a future that we approach with wonder and anticipation, knowing God is with us.
St. Paul's is a witness in Norfolk County to the transforming love of Jesus.
We will glorify and enjoy God together by discovering and using the gifts God gives us to share the love of Jesus in worship and in our community.
God is a a mystery;
God is one, and God is three.
God is the creator of all things seen and unseen.
Jesus' birth
Jesus' birth marked the entry of God into creation;
his life and teaching set the example for human life; his death and resurrection signify to us that God has determined never to be God without us.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the presence and power of God among us; our teacher, counselor, and advocate.
The Bible
The Bible is the inspired word of God, the guide for our journey of faith; God's revelation to us.
Service
Service to others is an expression of our faith;
we serve God by serving his creation in love and compassion.
Sin
Sin harms our relationship with God and our relationships with each other.
Honest recognition of our failings and hurts is a necessary first step toward healing and forgiveness.
Forgiveness
Forgiveness means that we are no longer bound to past damaging behaviours - both our own behaviours and those of others.
The gift of god is to free us from our past for His future.
Discipleship
Being a Christian is a dynamic way of living, not a static profession of doctrine.
Discipleship is our continuing walk with God, learning to allow God's truths to reach deeper within us, to transform us fully in what we were created to be.
Life does not exist without growth.
